New for Fall 2017 league season! In an effort to introduce more new people into the league and continue to build friendships among new arrivals, the season we will be following a draft format!
All players registered for the league will be drafted on to teams assembled by captains during the draft pick. Women Divisions, WD3 and WD4, will be drafted by the Division Commissioners per their request.
Here's how it works
D3 and D4 Divisions will be utilizing a draft format. This is a competitive league and there is no guarantee all players will get on a team. Captains and their designated co-captain will “scout” players for the league in a “Draft Session” event lead by the league manager. Players can register at Meetup.com for the draft event. In this event, all captains must form their wish-list of players available for draft. Captains should have at least 5 picks per position (5 players they wish to pick for each position) given other captains are competing for possibly the same players. Once captains have picked their potential players, they are excused to go.
The Actual Draft Process is scheduled for August 12 at Plummer Park (more details will be emailed to the registered captains prior to the event.) During the drafting process, numbers will be chosen for the order of the first round of picks and players will be drafted onto teams and will continue this process until all players have been assigned. The captains will be responsible for forming the best team they can with the available players and ensure all positions in their team are filled. The team will have a maximum of 7 players.
Who can be a captain?
Good question. A captain should be a someone who has at least captained a team in any prior season or tournament. Captains may designate who their co-captain will be prior to the draft.
All participants in the Draft Day MUST be rated to participate in the Draft process; if players are looking to play for the first time, there will be a rating session for unrated players to be rated before season.

Players participating in the D3 and D4 Divisions
All players looking to participate in the draft process MUST complete this form to be considered. The form must be completed before the scheduled Draft Day Session. Then, if players are drafted into a team, a link will be emailed to those players to complete their registration.
